The Friends of Milton Mausoleum now well into their event planning for this year and are receiving bookings for most of the events. Details are listed below.

First Sunday Opening of the Mausoleum

Sunday 4th May, 2.00pm to 4.00pm

The Mausoleum will open for the 2025 season, with volunteers available to guide visitors around the historic building and share its connections to The Dukeries. Entry is free.

The Mausoleum will be open every Sunday from this date until Sunday 28th September. Group visits are welcome on any day of the week by prior arrangement.

Summer Celebrations Concert: Special Anniversary Black-Tie Event

Saturday 21st June, 7.00pm

Taking place at the Mausoleum, and featuring award-winning vocalist and pianist Oliver Harris. Having performed internationally and at UK festivals, he is known for performing songs by Elton John, Roy Orbison and more.

Seating is limited, so early booking is recommended. Tickets cost £18.00. Wine and canapés will be served on the lawn during the interval. A raffle and the second draw of the 100 Lottery will also take place.

Heritage Weekend

Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th September

A weekend dedicated to local and family history at the Mausoleum and West Markham Church, featuring a display of historical records and archives. Visitors are encouraged to contribute their own knowledge or memorabilia.

Entry is free, and refreshments will be available. The third draw of the 100 Lottery will take place during the event.

Carols by Candlelight

Saturday 6th December, 3.00pm

An annual event at the Mausoleum marking the start of the festive season, featuring entertainment by The Four Players. Mince pies, mulled wine, and a seasonal raffle will be available. The final draw of the 100 Lottery will take place during the event.
