The Crossing Shoebox appeal

by | 10 August 2019 | Notice, Worksop

This year, The Crossing Church will be supporting Family and Elderly Shoe Box Appeal. It is a national appeal organised by Link to Hope and it aims to help the whole family, not just children. You are asked to put items in an ordinary size shoe box. Every box should contain gloves/scarf or hat; sweets or chocolates; soap and flannel; toothbrush or toothpaste; and small games, such as a travel size game. There is then a list for you to choose five more items either for a family or an elderly person.

The Crossing will collect boxes until Tuesday 5th November, but no later. These boxes will be delivered by Christmas to people in Romania, Moldova, Ukraine or Bulgaria. If you would like further information please visit www.linktohope.co.uk or contact The Crossing.

Please do not take shoeboxes for Samaritans Purse to The Crossing as they will not be collecting or delivering them to local warehouses. The Crossing Shoebox Appeal team are grateful for your support.
