The Crossing will be holding a Summer Fayre on Saturday 21st May. This is a welcome event for the church, and they are looking forward to once again inviting you to join them for the day.

The Fayre will be open from 9.30am to 2.00pm and will include many craft stalls, bric-a-brac, plants, cakes and tombola / raffle. An ideal place to pick up a bargain or a unique gift!

The café area will be open for refreshments during that time and will be serving snacks and light lunches.
Stalls can be booked for £12.00 per space.

The Crossing also has many regular groups and meetings such as Baby and Toddlers (Wednesday mornings), Seated Exercise (Tuesday mornings and Friday afternoons) and Crafty Corner (Wednesday mornings).

In The Crossing Café, the Methodist Homes for the Aged hosts a lunch club on Tuesdays and the Bassetlaw Food Bank hosts a social eating lunch club on Wednesdays. There are also regular monthly dementia-friendly events.

And on Friday mornings at 10.00am to 12.00pm there is a regular coffee morning, with homemade cakes and Fairtrade coffee and tea available.

The volunteers who organise and run all these events are enjoying welcoming people into The Crossing and are looking forward to meeting more of you. For further information on the church and any of its events, call 01909 473375, email admin@thecrossing.co.uk or visit www.thecrossing.co.uk.
