Aurora Wellbeing in Worksop is a unique therapy service providing support for people affected by cancer and long-term health conditions. Their support embraces families and carers, and they promote good health and quality of life for everyone. Working to improve individual’s physical and emotional wellbeing is what they do.

Valerie’s Tea Room

Aurora’s wonderful Tea Room is open Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 4.00pm, and has a range of teas and coffee, light bites, sandwiches, jacket potatoes, daily specials and sweet treats. Why not join them for Afternoon Tea? For £15.00 per person, you can enjoy a selection of freshly made sandwiches, scones with jam and cream and homemade cakes. Advanced booking is required. Or why not try one of their Cow Shack, homemade Jersey ice cream flavours? There is something for everyone!

The Tuesday Market takes place on the third Tuesday of every month from 10.00am to 2.00pm with local craft stalls, tombola, wellbeing and local health information. If you are interested in having a stall, please contact Dawn on hospitality@aurorawellbeing.org.uk.

  • Fit and Fun Body Workout – Tuesdays, 11.15am to 12.15pm. Enjoy movement to music to release your endorphins. Simple dance routines to raise your fitness levels.
  • The Paper Craft Group meets every Monday and Friday from 2.15pm to 4.00pm. All items are supplied and sessions cost £4.00 person. All welcome.
  • The Friendly Crafters Group meets every Wednesday from 10.30am to 12.30pm. Each session costs £3.00 and everyone is welcome. Refreshments provided.
