Summer voices and violins at The Crossing

The Crossing on Newcastle Street, Worksop (S80 2AT) welcomes North Notts Chamber Choir and the Sarentino String Quartet on Saturday 8th June at 7.30pm. The Choir’s musical director, Timothy Uglow, has designed an excellent programme which also includes contributions by senior music scholars of Worksop College.

Content includes a mix of instrumental and choral items by Purcell, JS Bach, Monteverdi, Mozart, Vivaldi and Sullivan.
North Notts Chamber Choir — comprising singers drawn from the college and the local community — rehearses at Worksop College, and the Sheffield-based Sarentino String Quartet’s players are Lucy Phillips, Hannah Thompson-Smith, Jonny Ingall and Natalie Roper.
