Summer songsters

Popular Worksop based choir The Musicality Singers, scored big successes with their Christmas and spring concerts. At the spring concert, extra seating even had to be made available to keep pace with the demand for tickets.

They are planning to follow those successes with a concert for summer that, even in the sort of summers we have, should see temperatures rising — with a new arrangement of ‘Fever’ and an eclectic mix of music that includes pieces by Gershwin, Janis Joplin, Beatles, Billy Joel and Sting, as well as a hauntingly beautiful new arrangement of ‘Ave Maria’.

The concert is on Wednesday 20th June, at The Crossing in Worksop. Doors open at 7.00pm and the performance begins at 7.30pm. Tickets, costing £7.50, are available from The Crossing. You can follow The Musicality Singers on Facebook.
