Shireoaks and Rhodesia Against Plastic Pyrolysis (SRAPP)

by | 31 May 2024 | Environment, Notice, Worksop

The application for the proposed Shireoaks Plastic Pyrolysis Centre on Shireoaks Road, Worksop, has now been submitted to Nottinghamshire County Council.

This application has disregarded the concerns that have been raised directly with the companies involved, in relation to the location of the site being inappropriate and the damaging and harmful impact that this facility with have on nearby communities.

We have organised a Public Consultation Meeting on Monday 3rd June at 7.00pm at Shireoaks Sports and Social Club.

This will be a really important meeting where we will be giving full guidance on how to complete objections and explaining all of the other measures we will be immediately actioning to move forward with our campaign.

We will need people to attend this meeting, wherever this is possible, and as many volunteers as possible, to help to take all of our actions forward.

We are fighting this proposal because we matter! Our health and the health of our communities and environment matter!
