On Saturday 13th September, St John the Evangelist Church and the Methodist Church in Carlton in Lindrick, together with St Luke’s Church in Langold, will join many Nottinghamshire churches taking part in the 2025 Ride and Stride event organised by the Nottinghamshire Historic Churches Trust.

St John’s (S81 9EG) and the Methodist Church (S81 9EA) will be open from 10.00am to 6.00pm, while St Luke’s (S81 9NP) will be open from 10.00am to 2.00pm, welcoming visitors arriving on foot or on wheels and offering refreshments. All three churches are wheelchair and mobility scooter accessible.

Whether you have never had the chance to step inside these buildings, would like to explore the heritage and history of the area, or simply fancy a cup of tea and a chat in interesting surroundings, this is the perfect opportunity. For anyone new to the area, it’s also an ideal way to discover more about local history and the regular activities on offer.
