The summer holidays are here and Retford Arts Hub has some great activities in August for the children to enjoy.
If you are aged between seven and 15 years, then why not go along and have some free fun? You will have to book in, as places are limited. Thanks go to the UKSPF Levelling up Fund and Bassetlaw District Council for funding these sessions.
All workshops run from 1.30pm to 3.00pm:
- Monday 5th August: Air Dried Clay Bunting with Angela
- Thursday 8th August: Make a Mobile with Chris
- Thursday 15th August: Creative Sewing with Sue
- Wednesday 21st August: Abstract Acrylic Painting with Karen
- Thursday 29th August: Printing Leaves and Trees from Kings Park, Retford with Jo
Margaret, an artist from the Arts Hub, has enabled the residents of Forest Hill Residential Home in Worksop to enjoy some new painting and craft sessions.
The first session was in June and used watercolour and flowers to produce a painting. The resultant pictures were stunning and the residents and staff really enjoyed the session.
This session will be held once a month with a different theme each week.
