The Retford Arts Hub Raffle was drawn on 14th February, St Valentine’s Day. There were two lucky winners who were able to pick a Kip Combes watercolour painting of their choice.
The next raffle will run from April Fool’s Day, and the Hub is able to offer a beautiful watercolour by Sydney Wright as first prize. The Hub would like to thank Judith Jones, who kindly donated this framed picture and a lovely watercolour by Marianne Cox.
The Oil Painting Club has been very popular and the Watercolour course is now fully booked. Look out for future workshops on the group’s Facebook and Instagram or in their shop window.
Finally, why not visit their Gallery to see the latest exhibition ‘Magical Mixed Media’, which runs from 23rd March to 31st May?
This must-see exhibition is a fusion of Arts Hub artists’ / makers’ work and creations from the children’s workshops.
