Tuesday 5th March is the date of the next monthly meeting at Worksop Cricket Club for the Bassetlaw branch of Parkinson’s UK, and will include the AGM prior to a demonstration of seated exercises by Sarah Mullany.
The Chairman’s report explains that the benefits gained from joining Branch activities has shown to make a positive difference to the lives of members. This achieves the Branch aim which is to demonstrate that there is a full social life to be enjoyed despite some of the difficulties Parkinson’s disease may cause.
The lunch club meets at the Lockkeeper on Tuesday 19th March and an outing to Pennell’s garden centre Lincoln with a lunch at Windmill Farm hotel is arranged for Thursday 28th March.
The Branch offers the hand of friendship and support to everyone with Parkinson’s disease, their friends and family. New members join almost every month and are warmly welcomed.
