Bank Park are now managing a new car park very near to Bassetlaw District General Hospital, which helps to support Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice. The car park conveniently located within a few minutes’ walk of the hospital is on Kilton Hill, on the site of a former pub. Bank Park manage the site on behalf of a local company, who have invested a significant amount into the state of the art car park, which has flood lights, ANPR cameras, and ‘My Bank Park’ which will allow drivers to automatically pay for their parking when they visit. Parking is reasonably priced, ranging from £1.00 for two hours to £5.00 for 24 hours, with a percentage of the money patrons going to Bluebell Wood when they park there.

Bank Park offer friendly, fair and ethical car parking solutions and currently manage over 60 car parks across the country whilst also raising much needed funds for local charities. The company has supported Bluebell Wood since 2012, and in that time has raised over £100,000 through their Park and Give scheme, as well as another £30,000 raised through clothing banks in some of their car parks for the children’s hospice.

Ashley Kelley, Managing Director of Bank Park said: “With great rates and 24-hour parking we hope this will be a popular choice for patients, visitors and of course NHS staff. Remember every time you park you are giving to charity whilst also saving on your parking.”

Rachael Dawes, Corporate Fundraising Manager, Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice, said: “We’re delighted that Bank Park have again chosen to support the hospice with the opening of this new car park in Worksop. We’ve been a charity partner of Bank Park for the last six years, and during that time, they’ve raised over £100,000 to support our vital work with local families. This amazing amount raised means we could provide 55 nights of specialist 24-hour end of life care for children with life-shortening conditions, at a time when they and their families need our help the most.”
