This is the eighth year of the Summer Roadshows for unpaid carers and patients, after a forced three-year Covid gap. Each year the shows are bigger and better, offering more options of different types of free support for the 22,000 people that has visited.
Unpaid carers and patients can sign up for the support they want, there and then, at the stalls. This is the Carers Roadshow in action.
No one is selling anything or raising money; the shows are just there to help with such things as the cost of living and how to get a blue badge for your car, as well covering cancer, dementia, autism and many more of the terrible diseases that touch everyone.
Don’t miss out on this opportunity to improve your life and that of the person you’re caring for. Go along:
- Thursday 13th July: Retford Market Place (DN22 6HB)
- Friday 14th July: Worksop Market Place (S80 1JA)
Both events run from 10.00am to 2.00pm, so pop along to one or both and see for yourself. You will be surprised to see the range of free help and support there is available at the many stalls, dealing with both health and social care problems.
