The North Notts Association of National Trust Members is a club for National Trust members that promotes the work of the Trust while providing opportunities to enjoy visits to places of interest – not all National Trust owned – during the summer months. In winter, meetings are held at The Crossing, Newcastle Street, Worksop, usually on the third Wednesday of each month from October to April at 7.30pm. Guest speakers present on a wide range of subjects, including historic properties and events, wildlife, and notable figures.
This year’s summer visits included the Richard III Centre in Leicester, the Thackray Museum of Medicine, and Lyme Park. Details of next year’s summer programme are currently being finalised and will be announced shortly. Different payment options are available for members who may not wish to attend every event. Full membership costs £32.00 for individuals or £58.00 per couple, covering seven talks and five outings. Outings are priced separately for all members. Alternatively, a basic subscription is available at £6.00 for individuals or £8.00 per couple, with a charge of £7.00 for each talk attended. Visitors, including non-National Trust members, are welcome to attend talks at £7.00 per person. Prices are subject to confirmation, and all funds raised go towards supporting National Trust projects.
