Les Francophiles de Tickhill’s last meeting of 2024 will take place on Wednesday 3rd December, when the group will celebrate la fête de Noël. This will be a bring-and-share supper featuring a taste of France, accompanied by seasonal entertainment to evoke the festive spirit.
Please note that the January meeting will be a week later than usual on 8th January, when Brenda Lowe will speak about teaching French in primary school.
Meetings are held at 7.30pm in the Parish Room on the first Wednesday of each month. Although meetings are conducted in English, there is always an opportunity to practise French over tea or coffee by joining those members of the group who are experienced French speakers.
