Saturday 23rd March, 7.30pm at The Crossing, Newcastle Street, Worksop S80 2AT, provides an opportunity to hear the prodigious talents of the young pianist Julian Clef.

Born in Kerala, India, he received no formal piano training until he came to England to reside with Celestine and Linda John who had spotted his potential. From then on, his keyboard development was little short of astonishing.

Via Manchester’s Chethams School of Music and the Royal Northern College of Music, Julian is a Bachelor of Music and Master of Music. His performances were heard by the legendary concert pianist Sir András Schiff who arranged an international tour of master classes and performances.

The programme for 23rd March contains both serious and light classics, with the composers Brahms, Beethoven, Chopin, Richard Rodgers and George Gershwin (Earl Wild arrangements) featuring.

Adult tickets are £10.00, under 16s £4.00, from The Crossing welcome desk or they can be ordered from 01909 475421 or by email to info@musicatthecrossing.co.uk. See www.musicatthecrossing.co.uk for more information.
