Ladies from across North Nottinghamshire (although they would welcome some men) shared their textiles expertise over Buck’s Fizz and mince pies at Retford Textiles Group’s December meeting. Designs were based on polystyrene cones and included trees, gnomes without homes and the three wise men!
The group meets monthly and includes a mix of contemporary and traditional techniques. They also arrange day visits. The next meeting is Wednesday 5th January at 6.30pm in the Goodwin Hall, Retford, with the theme of ribbon work taught by the lovely Bev. For more details contact Carrie on 01623 863327.
