Girlguiding helps every girl discover this for herself. Every girl has a home at Girlguiding Worksop – here she can be herself, get creative, explore, make friends and most of all have fun. 300 young members locally can’t be wrong!
Just for girls
In relaxed and encouraging all-girl spaces, every girl can be herself and feel at home. No pressure, no judgement – just fun and learning with other girls, guided bt inspiring volunteers.
Helping girls grow
Girlguiding fires girls’ imaginations through challenges and adventures for all personalities and abilities. They’ll try new things with friends they trust and volunteers they look up to. This will give them courage, confidence, and memories they’ll never forget. To regular meetings, they might add weekend adventures or trips exploring new places.
Girls can join at any age between four and 18:
- Rainbows: play, learning and tons of fun; 4-7 years
- Brownies: nonstop fun, learning and adventure; 7-10 years
- Guides: a welcoming, fun-filled space with laughter, learning and expanding horizons; 10-14 years
- Rangers: having fun, learning more, giving back, hanging out – and just being you; 14-18 years
Not standing still
Girlguiding has been by girls’ sides for over 100 years. Today, they are squarely focused on what drives, challenges and excites girls here and now. They listen to what girls tell them, and this guides what they offer.
