Final chance to see Worksop Light Operatic Society!

Have you booked your tickets yet to see Worksop Light Operatic Society’s production of Little Shop of Horrors? If not, this may be your last chance to see this well-known local society in its present form!

But don’t worry, the Society and members aren’t going anywhere. At their recent AGM, the members simply voted to change the name of the society to Worksop Musical Theatre Society.

The Society President explained: “The words Light Operatic no longer reflect the type of show that the Society produces, and as we present more modern shows our new name will make this clearer to our audiences and supporters.”

Little Shop of Horrors, the Society’s last show under its old name, will be staged at the Acorn Community Theatre, Queen Street, Worksop from 16th to 18th May at 7.30pm each night and with a Saturday matinée at 2.30pm.

Tickets cost £18.50 and are on sale now. Please note – this show is classified as PG13. Tickets can be booked via www.acorntheatre.org or by calling 01909 501817 any Wednesday between 12.00pm and 3.00pm.

The members have been rehearsing hard to bring you a dark, romantic and funny show, which will provide a great evening’s entertainment. Book now to find out how a weird man-eating plant invades the life of our heroes Seymour and Audrey!
