An award winning, professionally designed garden in 1/3rd acre. The free-flowing lawn is surrounded by colourful, naturalistic borders with shrubs, grasses and perennials. An informal path runs through a colourful gravel garden, planted with aromatics and grasses leading to the wildlife pond and sunken garden with oak pergola. Short woodland walk, ample seating. Wheelchair access, refreshments, plants for sale.Disabled parking on drive, but parking is very limited, so please pre-book to enable as many people as possible to visit this lovely garden.

The Old Vicarage, Halam Hill, Halam NG22 8AX

Much loved two-acre hillside garden with open views of the surrounding countryside. This year there is a new area of planting / design at the bottom of the garden which attracts diverse wildlife. A lovely peaceful garden to sit and take afternoon tea. Beautiful 12th century church open in the village. Wheelchair access, dog friendly, plants for sale, parking, refreshments.

Rhubarb Farm, Hardwick Street, Langwith NG20 9DR

This two-acre horticultural social enterprise provides training and volunteering opportunities to the community. It has eight polytunnels, 100 hens, pigs, donkey and Shetland pony. They produce fresh vegetables and egg for sale in the small shop. Rhubarb farm features regularly in the media. Main path suitable for wheelchairs, but bumpy, not all site wheelchair accessible. Plants for sale, parking, refreshments.

This very small, but lovely garden combines the tranquility of the Orient with the colour of a traditional English cottage garden. East: a number of sizeable acers, bamboos, and Japanese lanterns. A stream flows past a cloud tree into a pond with fish and water lilies. West: A trompe d’oeil arch creates a magical garden illusion. A rainbow flower bed. Wheelchair access, plants for sale.
