See work created by members of the award-winning and locally -based Dadesley Crafting CIC crafting group at an exhibition on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th June.

There will be a wide range of crafts on show from knitting, crochet, embroidery and sewing to painting, various papercrafts, flower arranging, jewellery making, woodworking projects and so much more.

There will be items to buy as well as demonstrations of crafts and some mini workshops on offer for you to have a go yourself. There is no charge for the exhibition or craft demonstrations and mini workshops.

The exhibition is at St Catherine’s House, Flourish Enterprises, Woodfield Park, Balby, Doncaster DN4 8QP. There is a café on-site to serve refreshments.

Dadesley Crafting CIC is a not-for-profit, Community Interest Company which aims to use craft to combat isolation and promote wellbeing in communities.

They have only been operating for 18 months but have gone from strength-to-strength, now having bases at Flourish Enterprises and one day a week at the Parish Room in Tickhill. They are now open six days a week and have over 80 different crafting workshops, meaning there is something for everyone from beginner onwards.

Recently the group was very proud to be awarded the Creative Lives award for England, and they would love you to go along and find out why they were awarded such a prestigious prize!

With over 200 members, aged 18 to 90, this welcoming group is very proud of the things its members have created and, through friendly and accessible workshops, would like to help others create more.
