After a summer of record temperatures, hosepipe bans, numerous strikes and a new Prime Minister, people could be forgiven for wondering what autumn will bring.
One way to get it off to a good start would be to attend a delicious afternoon tea, being held in aid of Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice. This will take place on Saturday 1st October at Carlton-in-Lindrick Parish Centre, from 2.00pm to 4.00pm. Tickets are £12.50, with all profits to go to supporting the work of the Hospice. With delicious home baking, unlimited tea or coffee, live entertainment, a raffle and lucky bags on sale, what better way to spend an afternoon with friends?
Bluebell Wood supports children with life-threatening and life-shortening conditions, and their families, from North Nottinghamshire, South Yorkshire, North Derbyshire and North Lincolnshire. Every penny raised for the Hospice goes towards care for the children and their families, giving them the chance to make lovely memories together.
Tickets can be obtained by calling Jane on 07867 318882, or the Hospice itself on 01909 517360 and speaking to a receptionist. Numbers are limited, so don’t delay and miss out on a treat!
