Are you looking forward to the new King’s Coronation? Wondering how to mark the event? Look no further – here is your chance to kick off the celebrations in style, by attending A Royal Occasion.
Organised by the Worksop Support Group for Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice, this entertaining evening is to be held on Saturday 21st April. It is intended to celebrate both the Coronation and St George’s Day (23rd April). Starting at 7.00pm for 7.30pm, and featuring entertainment from the Lahdidah vintage vocal group, it will be held at Manton Sports and Social Club on Retford Road in Worksop.
Tickets cost £12.50 which will include a fun royal quiz and a fish and chip supper. There will also be a raffle at the event. Anyone attending is invited to dress in red, white and blue, to match the patriotic theme of the evening. Tickets are available by contacting Chris (01909 478533) or from any Support Group member.
