‘Golden Light’ – An Exhibition of Paintings by Mark Bloomer

Mark Bloomer is a plein air landscape painter and wildlife artist based in Retford. He is a member of both the Retford Art Society and the Doncaster Art Club. Mark spends much of his time painting outdoors, capturing local scenes from everyday life. His preferred medium is oil, and he enjoys experimenting with new techniques and methods of working. A highlight of his career so far was being selected as a wildcard participant in the 2026 Sky Arts Landscape Artist of the Year in Keswick.
