Bassetlaw Hospice has two fundraising events planned during April, offering opportunities for the community to support the hospice while enjoying good food and a friendly atmosphere.
Curry Afternoon
Bassetlaw Hospice invites supporters to join them on Sunday 12th April for a special Indian buffet afternoon hosted by the Gurkha Tandoori Restaurant on Grove Street, Retford. Two sittings are available: 2.00pm to 5.00pm and 5.00pm to 9.00pm. Tickets cost £20.00 per person and include a starter, a choice of meat and vegetable dishes and a dessert. Drinks are not included. Spring Fayre
The hospice will also hold its Spring Fayre on Saturday 18th April at The Well, Hospital Road, Retford, from 10.00am to 1.00pm. Alongside the hospice’s popular pop-up shop, offering clothing and accessories suitable for spring occasions, there will be a variety of stalls run by hospice volunteers selling gifts, crafts, toys and books. A raffle will also take place. Refreshments will be available, including delicious homemade cakes which can be taken away or enjoyed with a cup of tea or coffee in the café area before browsing the stalls.
