Multicultural Celebration

On Saturday 23rd September a multicultural event will take place in Worksop, on Bracebridge Field, to promote and celebrate the rich culture and diversity of Bassetlaw.

Everyone is welcome to attend and there will be a variety of activities and entertainment to enjoy.

Polish dancing, Hong Kong crafts, Ukrainian community activities, a variety of different music and plenty to do for children and families.

There is no entry fee and there will be a selection of food, drink and ice cream vendors.

Bassetlaw is an inclusive place to live and is keen to celebrate the diverse community and the welcoming nature of residents.
This event has been organised and planned in partnership by a variety of inclusive and multicultural organisation that are all keen to ensure everyone feels welcome in Bassetlaw.

Funding for Bassetlaw community groups

With thanks to successful funding from the UKSPF Levelling Up Fund, Bassetlaw Community and Voluntary Service are looking forward to launching a new round of funding that will be made available to eligible Bassetlaw community groups.

The first round will open for application on 1st September and will fund projects and initiatives that build pride in place and increase life chances across three key areas – Community and Place, Local Businesses and People and Skills.
