Branch members will celebrate HM The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee on Wednesday 1st June with a coach trip to Brigg Garden Centre, where they will enjoy a luxury afternoon tea party funded by the National Lottery.
The meeting on 3rd May welcomes John Smith, who will talk about ‘People-Watching and Body Language’, while on 7th June Chris Ashby will be speaking about ‘The Story of Nimrod’.
Meetings take place on the first Tuesday of every month at 2.00pm at Worksop Cricket Club, Central Avenue. New members are assured of a very warm welcome.
The popular seated exercise classes have resumed on Thursday afternoons and are well attended and great fun.
Members will enjoy an outing to see Worksop Light Operatic Society perform Made in Dagenham on Saturday 21st May.
