Aurora Wellbeing Centre

Aurora Wellbeing is here to offer help and support to anyone who maybe suffering a loss or bereavement. An informal meeting is held each Friday from 9.30am to 12.30pm at the Centre on Memorial Avenue, Worksop.

A warm welcome and listening ear is provided by a team of experienced volunteers. It is also an opportunity to meet with others in a similar position. For those who prefer more individual support, one-to-one sessions are available. We have no time limits, no matter how long you have been grieving Aurora are here to help.

Aurora relies on fundraising to deliver its services and the generosity of local people. There are many ways you can support them including joining them at one of their regular fundraising events.

Why not spoil someone you love with an Afternoon Tea experience in the art deco Valerie’s Tearooms at Aurora? Live entertainment with ‘Rat Pack’ singer Brian Couldwell and a Mother’s Day themed quiz – just for fun! Their Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea is on Wednesday 15th March, from 3.00pm to 5.00pm and costs £15.00 per person. Booking is essential.

Spotlight on… Aurora Centre Community Fundraising Volunteer role

Aurora are looking for Community Fundraising Volunteers to plan and take part in fundraising activity. In this role you will get the opportunity to bring your creativity, energy and enthusiasm for fundraising to Aurora Wellbeing Centres and try new ways to raise much needed funds for the charity.
