Are you feeling a little flat after all the excitement of Christmas? Is the damp and chilly weather getting you down? Well, why not give yourself something to look forward to, and book yourself a trip to South Pacific? No, not the South Pacific, but the Worksop Light Operatic Society’s production of ‘South Pacific’ in May.

This famous and fabulous Rodgers and Hammerstein musical is set on a Pacific island during World War II, and features two parallel love stories, both blighted by prejudice and misunderstanding. You will have to come and see the show to find out how they end!

With famous songs such as ‘Some Enchanted Evening’, ‘I’m Gonna Wash That Man Right Outa My Hair’ and ‘Happy Talk’, you’ll be guaranteed to come out humming the tunes. Add colourful costumes and a little comedy, and you’ve got a night out to remember.

The show is to be performed at the Acorn Theatre, Queen Street, Worksop from Tuesday 14th to Saturday 18th May at 7.00pm each night, with a matinee at 2.00pm on Saturday 18th.

Tickets are available now the Acorn Theatre box office on 01909 501817 or online through www.acorntheatre.net. Productions by the Worksop Light Operatic Society are always very popular, so book now, or risk being disappointed!
