Week after week, 14th Worksop Scout Group volunteers empower over 100 young people to try new things, make new friends and stand on their own two feet.
However, they need more volunteers to help. You don’t need to have been a Scout when you were younger. You don’t even need to know how to put up a tent. Whatever your skillset, lend a hand for as little or as much time as you can spare, and they promise you’ll get more out than you put in.
They provide the training. You show up, get stuck in, and make new memories for life. Sounds fun? Worthwhile? It is.
Their five Sections, for young people aged four to 18 meet on a Monday, Wednesday and Thursday nights at the Scout Hut on Slack Walk. Whether you could help one night a week running a section, join the trustee board or support with building and grounds maintenance, please get in touch.
