On Wednesday 8th March between 7.30pm and 9.00pm, 1208 (Warsop) Squadron are holding our open evening for young people aged 12 (and in school year 8) to 17 years old, along with their parents / carers to visit the Squadron and find out more about what they do!
On the night you can speak to both cadets and volunteers and complete the relevant paperwork and get measured for your uniform, or you can go home to think about whether it is for you and bring your paperwork in on the induction night which will be Monday 13th March from 7.00pm.
Since returning in January cadets have completed various activities including first aid, STEM, leadership, shooting and classification training. The group are moving forward with the rebuild of the building, they have welcomed two new CI (Probationers) and are looking forward to welcoming new cadets to the Squadron this month. Six cadets completed their Youth First Aid Training and one of their senior cadets completed their Method of Instruction Assessment meaning they are now able to instruct larger groups of cadets as well as assist cadets in achieving their Essential and Youth First Aid qualifications.
