See the enchanting pantomime Sleeping Beauty at Rotherham Civic Theatre. When the wicked fairy Carabosse’s evil curse causes the princess to prick her finger on a spinning wheel and fall into an enchanted sleep can anyone rescue her from the magical slumber before it is too late?
Rotherham’s pantomime will have all the ingredients for a perfect festive panto. Add a generous helping of slapstick comedy, one outrageous dame and a dash of booing for the baddie! All mixed together with traditional sets and costumes, a sprinkling of fabulous songs and dancing throughout. X Factor star Andy Abraham will play King Hugo. He will be joined by the hilarious Tim Freeman as Nanny Annie, Kevin McGreevy as the comical Muddles the Jester and Vicky Field as Grunge. Local star Laura Judge will play Carabosse, who casts a wicked spell on Princess Rosa, played by Georgina Newton. Will she be rescued by Prince Valiant, played by Joshua Ford?”
