The Wickersley Neighbourhood Group (WING) meets on Wednesdays during term time from 1.30pm to 3.30pm in the Barn Church Hall at Wickersley.
WING provides elderly or isolated individuals in the area with the opportunity to enjoy social time away from home. Community Bus transport can be arranged for new members, collecting them from their homes to get to the Barn and taking them home afterwards.
There will be two meetings in December: a Beetle Drive on 4th December and a Christmas Party on 11th December, during which children from St Alban’s School will entertain members with song and dance, followed by a party tea. WING meetings will resume in the new year on Wednesday 9th January.
