Volunteers Week 2019 is fast approaching, an annual event which celebrates the contribution made by millions of volunteers across the UK. Nationally taking place between 1st and 7th June, here in Rotherham, for the last few years, Voluntary Action Rotherham have dedicated the whole month of June to celebrating, thanking and supporting volunteers.
They are busy planning their events, which once again will include the ‘Big Walk’ on Thursday 6th June. This is a great opportunity for us all to say thank you for the fantastic contribution that volunteers make, celebrate volunteering in all its diversity, highlight the benefits of volunteering and promote local volunteer opportunities.
