The last thing any of us want to do in August is discuss either the wet, wet, wet weather or Christmas. But they both ‘arrive’ whatever we do. So get your wellies and your diaries out and prepare to be prepared really early with plans at Tickhill Parish Room!
They still have Christmas Day available for your family party. Boxing Day is already booked, but there are other days available. Book as soon as you can; they have had a couple of enquiries even now. Their kitchen has enough equipment and tableware / cutlery to cater for up to 60 people. They have lovely white or cream tablecloths for hire. Some of their regular classes have been ‘resting’ during July and August, but everyone is back into the swing of things in September. Briefly they have the following happening regularly during the week: Ukulele, Baby Yoga and Massage, WI, Dadesley Craft Group, Francophiles, Voglia d’Italia, ACCORD, Yoga, Saturday Coffee Morning. Late Night Shopping is taking place on Thursday 30th November, when the Tickhill Market Square Christmas tree lights will be officially switched on, as well as the trees in and around the village. If you fancy having a stall at the Parish Room, either indoors or out, call 07840 419763 to book. The charge is £15.00 per table and they will also be serving refreshments and hot drinks.
