St Mary’s Church, Tickhill invites you to two fundraising events during September in aid of their Warm and Welcoming Project to replace the Church’s life expired boilers.
Leeds Brass Quartet in Concert
They are delighted to welcome to St Mary’s Church, Leeds Brass Quartet, Ensemble Strings and the Tickhill Community Choir for a concert of music on Saturday 16th September starting at 6.00pm. There will be a highly varied programme including some virtuoso baroque music for strings by Geminiani, original arrangements for brass including a movement from Rodrigo’s Concierto de Aranjuez, and songs from ‘the shows’.
Entry is free with a retiring collection in support of the Warm and Welcoming project to replace the church boilers. Refreshments will be served afterwards.
An exhibition of art by Tickhill artists and Favourite Hymn event

This will be happening in conjunction with the Favourite Hymn event to be held in the Church on Saturday afternoon from 2.00pm to 4.00pm.
