After a disappointing summer, autumn is now racing on and Christmas will soon be upon us.
On 29th September, Maltby St Barts is holding a Macmillan coffee morning in the church with lovely cakes and tea and coffee on sale. Please join them to raise money for this worthwhile cause.
On 5th October, the church will be welcoming its new vicar. Reverend Beth Langner will be licensed by Rt Reverend Sophie Jelley, Bishop of Doncaster. Everyone at the church is really looking forward to working with Beth!
Monthly coffee mornings continue on the last Saturday in the month, 10.00am to 12.00pm.
Christmas begins on 2nd December with the Christmas Coffee Morning and Art Display. There will be a Christmas tombola, festive refreshments and a prize draw. Everyone welcome.
The church carol service will be on 17th December at 6.00pm, followed by mulled wine.
Christingle will be on 24th December at 6.00pm.
Maltby St Barts is collecting old £1 coins – the ones with the smooth edges which are no longer legal tender but can be exchanged at the bank. Please look in your pockets and down your sofas and take them along next time you visit.
