St Alban’s Church, Wickersley

Sunday services are held at 9.15am, 10.45am and 6.00pm at St Alban’s Church, Wickersley. The 10.45am All Age Worship is particularly popular with young families. There is also a regular mid-week Communion service on Thursdays at 10.00am in the church.

The Stepping Stones group for pre-schoolers, along with their parents and carers, meets in the Barn Church Hall on Monday mornings during term time, from 9.30am to 11.00am. The Beta Bible Study group meets in the church fortnightly on Monday evenings.

The Harvest Festival was celebrated on 29th September, with Harvest Gifts from the congregation being donated to the Rotherham Foodbank to support individuals and families in need across the borough.

There will be a day trip to St Alban’s Abbey in Hertfordshire on Saturday 19th October, where the Church Choir will rehearse and sing with others at a 5.00pm service.
