Services on Sundays are at 9.15am, 10.45am, and 6.00pm at St Alban’s Church in Wickersley, with a mid-week Communion service at 10.00am on Thursdays. There will be a marriage-themed Flower Festival in the church on the weekend of Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th April. Visitors are invited to go and see the floral displays, wedding dresses, hats and veils, and a photo slideshow of different weddings, with an opportunity to view St Alban’s wedding registers from previous years.
Friday Coffee Mornings will continue through May in the Barn Church Hall from 10.00am to 12.00pm. These mornings are held to raise funds for a new heating system in the church.
On Saturday 10th May, Coryllion Choir will be performing a concert in the church at 7.00pm. It will be the tenth anniversary of the choir’s formation, and the programme, Rutter’s Feel the Spirit with other traditional spirituals and songs, will celebrate this anniversary. No tickets are needed – all are welcome.
The Annual Parochial Church Meeting will be held in church on Thursday 15th May at 7.00pm.
The SALS group (St Alban’s Ladies Fellowship) will meet on Wednesday 21st May, when Meg Rose will give a talk and demonstration of flower arranging.
