The final Fundraising Coffee Morning of 2025 in aid of St Alban’s Church, Wickersley will take place on Friday 5th December from 10.00am to 12.00pm in the Barn Church Hall. Everyone is welcome to go along and support the church’s fundraising efforts towards a new heating system, with work hoped to begin early in the new year.
On Tuesday 9th December at 6.00pm, there will be a special Carol Service for Dogs and Their Owners – Bark the Herald! Adults and children are warmly invited to bring their pet dogs into church for this unique festive celebration. The Christmas Extravaganza will be held on Saturday 20th December from 12.30pm to 3.30pm, featuring stalls, games, carol singing, refreshments and a visit from Santa Claus. All are welcome to attend.
On Sunday 21st December at 6.00pm, the church will hold its traditional Carols by Candlelight Service (Nine Lessons and Carols). On Christmas Eve, a Children’s Carol Service will take place at 3.00pm, followed by Midnight Communion at 11.15pm.
