Rush House Tenants and Landlords Housing Support

Rush House have been given funding in partnership with Rotherham Borough Council and Clifton Learning Partnership to offer Housing Support and Advice to tenants and landlords in Rotherham.

In brief, the charity is delivering weekly community drop-in sessions for residents to raise concerns regarding their housing/accommodation, but also to develop tenant’s knowledge of their responsibilities as a tenant. Tenants will be advocated on behalf, signposted to more specialist services, provided with support (short term) with housing issues and are supported to access statutory services. Tenants can either attend a drop-in session or refer directly; in addition landlords can also refer a tenant. Drop in sessions will at present be run at:

  • Eastwood Village Community Centre, Erskine Road, Rotherham — Every Tuesday and Thursday from 9.00am to 11.00am
  • Rush House, 18/19 Lindum Terrace, Doncaster Road, Rotherham — Every Friday from 10.00am to 12.00pm
