Join Rotherham Museums, Arts and Heritage in commemorating the 80th anniversary of VE Day on Thursday 8th May at Clifton Park Museum.
Victory in Europe (VE) Day marked the end of World War II in Europe. You are invited to a special commemoration event in the Archives searchroom, where they will honour those who served, both on the front lines and at home. You can also explore how Rotherham has celebrated VE Day through the years.
The free event will take place from 10.00am to 11.00am.
Original archival materials will be on display and available for handling. To help preserve these valuable documents, no food or drinks can be brought into the room.
