After a thorough appointment process, the Bishop of Sheffield is pleased to announce the appointment of the Reverend Helen Terry as Priest in Charge of Bramley and Thrybergh and Oversight Minister in the Silverwood Mission Area.

Helen has spent the past 12 months seconded in the parishes as a Curate in Charge from Christ Church Hillsborough and Wadsley Bridge, where she served as curate. Following her successful appointment, she will now be licensed as Priest in Charge and Oversight Minster at Thrybergh and Bramley. It is anticipated that the licensing will happen around September.

A proud Rotherham girl, Helen is looking forward to moving back to the place she grew up. The past 12 months in the parishes has reinforced for her the great potential in both the people and the places as well as the opportunities to see faith grow and bear fruit, and she cannot wait to see God continue the work He has already begun.
