Maltby Town Council Horticultural Show 2018

by | 10 August 2018 | Community Event, Hobbies, Rotherham

The sun is out and it appears summer is here at last (for a little while anyway!). I’m sure everyone is tending to their gardens, and enjoying the much deserved sunshine after what seems to have been a very prolonged winter. Perhaps you have been very creative on those dark nights, either painting, knitting or crocheting and have something wonderful to steal the show!

It seems an appropriate time to let you all know about Maltby Town Council’s Horticultural Show, incorporating grow, make and bake. We have over 100 categories ranging from fruit and vegetables, different types of flowers, homemade cakes, buns, Lego models, knitting, crocheting, etc.

This year’s show takes place on Saturday 18th August, at the Edward Dunn Memorial Hall, Maltby S66 7NQ and is open to the public from 12.00pm to 4.30pm.

You don’t have to be an expert to enter; this is a show for people to show off their interests and talents. So if you fancy entering a particular category or you just fancy having a look round and admire the talents of local people, then please come a long to what will be a lovely afternoon. If you’re a little bit green fingered or creative in anyway please check out our categories in our schedule and if you would like to enter, please contact Maltby Town Council on 01709 814060. There are categories for young and old, so no-one is left out!
