Maltby Miners Welfare Band is currently rehearsing for a series of VE Day concerts across the area.
On Thursday 8th May, the band will celebrate at Laughton Village Hall, concluding with the Last Post Ceremony around the beacon. On Saturday 10th May, they will perform at Kiveton Village Hall from 7.00pm, playing a mix of wartime songs and music from the era. On Sunday 11th May from 3.00pm, the band will be joined by its ever-growing Training Band at the Wesley Centre in Maltby.
