Life continues to be busy at St Barts! After our patronal festival we are now preparing for the WWI commemorations on 3rd and 4th November, in conjunction with the British Legion in Maltby. The church will be open to visitors over that weekend with an exhibition of World Wars memorabilia and photographs. A special service will be held on Sunday 4th November at 10.45am, please do come and join us.
Our roof appeal is still ongoing and preliminary work has already begun. An architect has already done an initial examination of the roof and work should begin next spring — finances and weather permitting.
On 22nd September, we will be holding a table top sale. Tables will be available at £6.00 each, please call 01709 814052 to book a table. Swell your piggy bank in preparation for Christmas!
Our Harvest Service will be on 30th September at 10.45am. All welcome. If you’re at a loose end on Tuesday mornings or feeling a bit lonely, please come along to our ‘coffee and chat’ sessions. It’s free and a pleasant way of meeting new friends. If you want to book or discuss a wedding, please come along to our vestry hour on Mondays, from 6.00pm to 7.00pm (except bank holidays).
