Clifton Park Museum have officially opened their brand-new exhibition SELF : There’s More To Me Than What You See. This exhibition is an exploration into identity that has been carefully crafted by artist Rob Young with local young people, all built on the foundations of a seemingly simple question, ‘Who are you?’. From 0 to 99+, everyone is invited to go along and play, reflect, and journey together through this thought-provoking exhibition.
Nelson’s Cub Club: Pop!

Pop into the museum and see Nelson and his friends to explore their amazing collection through play, song, stories and craft. Whether its blowing bubbles or playing catch, today’s session is all about things that go pop and bounce.
Nelson’s Cub Club: Hop!
Boston Castle

Nelson the lion has some new rabbit friends that have hopped over to Boston Castle to say hello. These rabbits are made of ‘Rotherham Red’, the same stone used to make Boston Castle. Go and see if you can hop, roll or leap like our animal friends.

Nelson loves making friends with everyone who comes to visit the museum. To celebrate their new exhibition on identity in Rotherham, Nelson invites you to join in the fun – explore and build new friendships, and express yourself through song, dance and play.

Interested in doing family history research, but not sure where to start? The friendly archives team will teach you how to navigate family history websites such as Find My Past and Ancestry. They can also recommend other resources based on your interests.
A Potted History: Echoes of Rockingham

Discover a stunning display of plants, flowers, and Rockingham-inspired ceramic art by artist Adele Howitt. Get hands-on with nature-themed creative activities for all ages, including a clay workshop led by Adele. This special event is part of an exciting collaboration with young designer Sam Dryell, who has created a unique Rockingham-inspired Garden for the Wentworth Woodhouse RHS Flower Show.
SELF: Who Am I? Clay Workshop

Go along to this free workshop and get creative with clay. Create a teeny version of you, place it in a tiny town, and let the fun begin. What will your mini-me do? Boss Boston Castle? Ride Keppel’s Rocket? A great big adventure, where your little hero is the star. A day to play with clay.
