Herringthorpe United Reformed Church’s Harvest Festival is on Sunday 15th September from 10.30am to 11.30am. All ages are welcome to join in to give thanks to God, and they will be collecting non-perishable food for the Rotherham Foodbank.
Their ‘Memory Lane Café’ meets on 25th September, and the last Wednesday of every month, from 1.30pm to 3.30pm. ‘Memory Lane’ is a dementia-friendly cafe, but open to everyone, with free refreshments and musical entertainment provided by Lost Chord.
The church has a range of children’s and youth activities, including a parent and toddler group, ‘Cheeky Chicks’, on a Monday morning, a weekly Kids Club (for those in school years 3 to 6), a weekly free Youth Club (for those in school years 7 to 11), and a range of uniformed groups.
