Friends in Harmony gave a successful charity concert in Wath All Saints Parish Church at the end of November. There was a mixture of songs including those with a seasonal theme. A total of £942 was raised, including the raffle, and a further sum of £500 was added from Wath Fundraising Group making a total of £1,442.
At the concert, they were also pleased to welcome the Mayor Councillor Mrs Sheila Cowen and Member of Parliament Rt Hon John Healey MP, Secretary of State for Defence.
The choir took part in the Rotherham Hospice ‘Light up a Life’ service held in Rotherham Minster. The choir sang three songs in the service which also included readings, a soloist, a reflection and lighting of candles.
