Roswell Road are set to perform at Firbeck Village Hall on Saturday 9th May.

Jasmine Watkiss and Zoë Wren formed indie-folk / Americana duo Roswell Road after a chance meeting led to them singing together in a busy Cambridgeshire market square. Their musical chemistry was instantaneous and they have been singing and writing songs together ever since.
Roswell Road combines guitar, violin and vocal harmonies with candid storytelling to create something really special. Their sound, which has drawn comparisons to First Aid Kit, Fleetwood Mac and the Indigo Girls, has taken them to stages across the UK and Europe, including Costa Festival Ibiza and the Cambridge and Shrewsbury Folk Festivals, receiving accolades along the way.

In a five-star review, Record Collector describe the duo as ‘an award-winning act who have wowed festivals all over,’ while Americana UK urges people to see Roswell Road now and enjoy their upward trajectory.

Their debut album Rebel Joy, produced by Leeds-based band The Dunwells, was released in March.
